A couple Fridays ago Charles and I spent several hours at a local Catholic retreat center, enjoying 3 hours of complete silence. We went our separate ways, napped in the sunshine, read scripture, journaled, and enjoyed the beauty of the place. It was a fabulous experience and I hope we get many more opportunities to do this in the future!

This last weekend we went out on Friday night for our eighth monthiversary, and we went to Hollywood to see A Christmas Carol at the Disney El Capitan theater, which is a theater Disney owns and does a whole production every time they show a movie.
They even have a soda fountain connected to it!
Across the street is the Chinese Theater with the hand prints and autographs of the famous people which I'd never seen before, it was pretty cool :)
