30 Books for my 30th Year

Here's my reading list for the next year, as soon as I finish a few evangelism books I have to read for a class I'm helping lead this fall I will be diving in to this list. I should clarify, someone pointed out to me recently that since I am turning 29, I am about to enter my 30th year of life, not my 29th. Hence, we're skipping a list of 29 books...which makes me feel a little like I lost a year of my life, but accuracy is important, I guess :) I'm excited about the variety, here's to a new year of books!

  2. I'm inspired by your list, too. Makes me want to make my own... but I'm 44 this year... hmmm. And I'm too tired to imagine reading a lot of the heavy stuff. BTW, 21 and 23 are excellent. #19, rich, but lets discuss. I didn't get out of that what I was hoping for. East of Eden -- so rich and beautiful. I felt myself lingering over the words. And Kathleen Norris, not too heavy, but lovely and refreshing. ENJOY and keep us up to date as you read...
